Designed and built in 1897
by Josiah Phillips, Jr., The Thurman-Phillips Home is both a family and historical treasure. The current owners, the Thurman Family, recently restored this magnificent, Victorian-era home. The original red-brick walkways, beneath substantial maple shade trees, lead you up to and through the front door into another time and place. Once inside, you’ll marvel at the family’s original turn-of-the-century furnishings and personal artifacts, including a large antiquarian library collection. As you continue your stroll through this grand seven-bedroom home, with its lofty 10 ft. ceilings throughout, you’ll see old photos, listen to poignant family stories, and gaze through original wavy-glass windows - a truly warm, delightful, and memorable view of the past.
Tours of the home and overnight accommodations, including a gourmet breakfast, are available by reservation only.
